Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskyj notes that Russia still has not responded to the US proposals to reach a ceasefire in Ukraine.

In his recurring evening speech to Ukrainians, Zelenskyj said on Saturday that the pressure on Moscow must be intensified.

For too long, the American proposal for unconditional ceasefire has been on the negotiating table without receiving an adequate response from Russia, said Zelenskyj.

Ukrainian and Russian representatives have held separate talks with Trump administration mediators at meetings in Saudi Arabia, where proposals for a limited ceasefire have been put forward.

The initial part of the talks has, among other things, concerned a ceasefire "at sea" (the Black Sea). Energy infrastructure, ceasefire in the air, and potential ceasefire at the front have also been discussed, as well as Russian demands for the lifting of certain sanctions.
