The women's team is changing arenas for its second Olympic match - but was not allowed to train there the day before the match against host nation Italy. "We have to take on that challenge," says Ulf Lundberg, the national team captain.

Tre Kronor's women beat Germany 4–1 in the opening match of the Olympic tournament, played in the smaller arena, Fiera Milano Rho.

Saturday's second match against host nation Italy will be played in the main arena, Santagiulia Arena, the scandal-hit venue that was severely delayed and was put into use barely a month ago without being fully completed.

But the Damkronorna were not allowed to train there before the match.

We have ice time tomorrow morning, but it's not very convenient because the game is at 2:40 p.m. So we have to take that challenge, go straight there, adapt to the situation and play in it, says Lundberg.

What do you think about it?

We try to make the best of the situation; we do that here too. So I don't put any energy into it, says Ulf Lundberg and continues:

I see opportunities: a new environment, hopefully a lot of people and meeting the host nation. It will be great fun to play with a big spotlight on us.

The women's team instead had a voluntary training session in the practice rink at Fiera Milano Rho.
