+ Historic premiere

The premiere against the Netherlands will be a historic one for Wales, who are making their first major championship. But with a group that also includes France and the reigning European champion England, the "Dragons" must perform a real feat if they are to advance from the group stage. However, there is plenty of experience in the coach, Canadian Rhian Wilkinson, who has made over 180 international appearances and numerous major championships.

+ All pressure on the stars

With players like Vivianne Miedema (Manchester City), Lineth Beerensteyn (Wolfsburg) and Jackie Groenen (Paris Saint-Germain), the 2017 European champion is impossible to rule out. But the question is whether "Die Oranje" has enough depth to compete with the big favorites England and France.

+ Often favorites – never winners

France has never won the World Championship, European Championship or Olympic Games. Maybe it's time to try something new this time?

When national team coach Laurent Bonadei chose to leave the stars – team captain Wendie Renard and vice-captain Eugénie Le Sommer – out of the squad, that's exactly how he reasoned.

I want a different result for this team, so I have chosen a different squad, said Bonadei according to BBC.

+ Can England replace Millie Bright?

England will try to defend the title from the successful championship on home soil in 2022. This time, however, they will have to do it without goalkeeper Mary Earps, midfielder Fran Kirby, and, the biggest loss of all, defender Millie Bright, all of whom have retired from the national team.

The question of how experienced Alex Greenwood (Manchester City) and defensive colleague Leah Williamson (Arsenal) will solve the defense in Bright's absence will be crucial for England to go really far in the tournament.
