A woman was arrested on Saturday after the police received a report of assault. When the police arrived at the scene, the child, who was not seriously injured, was there with the woman. She was initially suspected of assault, but the suspicion was later upgraded to attempted murder, writes SN.
"There were witnesses at the scene and we have spoken to several of them. Right now, we are working to map out the sequence of events," police spokesperson Martina Gradian told the newspaper.
