In cloudy Malmö, voters stream into the polling stations. Love Sjögren Alpha stood waiting outside the polling station on Kalendegatan in central Malmö when the doors opened. He considered voting a few days ago, but the line was too long, and today it feels right to cast his vote early on election day itself.
"I wanted to be a little solemn," he says as he leaves the venue with his wife.
He does not want to say which party he voted for. The most important thing for him is that there is not a drawn-out government negotiation.

In Hjällbo in northeast Gothenburg, early voting has increased by more than 200 percent compared with the last election, as SVT previously reported.
One of those who voted the other day is Ayan.
"There is a big difference. Many people feel directly discriminated against by certain parties. This election has a special feeling," she says.
According to Ayan, who accompanied her husband to the polling station at Bergsgårdsskolan in Hjällbo today, issues such as the veil ban and teenage expulsions have affected many.
There has been an extreme feeling that we have to vote. It is very important.
