Several violent acts in Norway recently are linked to a man who is alleged to have a debt of millions of kronor to the Swedish criminal network Foxtrot, reports VG.

Tuesday night, a hand grenade was thrown into a restaurant in Strømmen outside Oslo. According to VG, the police's theory is that the incident can be linked to a hand grenade explosion at a nail salon on Pilestredet in Oslo two weeks ago.

A man who is said to have a debt of one million kronor to the Foxtrot network is said to have a family connection to both people connected to the restaurant, and to a person connected to the premises of the nail salon.

The man in question is also related to a person who was kidnapped in Oslo in September, whose family is said to have been subjected to extortion attempts during the time the man was away.

Several people are being detained for suspected involvement in the various crimes.
