The three companies are accused of providing the Iranian regime with, among other things, satellite images of American defense facilities or other military targets in the Gulf states during the Iran-Iraq war.
"Today's actions single out Chinese companies for their support of Iran," said U.S. Senator Marco Rubio in a statement.
A summit between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping begins in China on Thursday, with the Middle East conflict on the agenda. The two world leaders will meet for the first time since October 2025.
