The US's top military officer Dan Caine has spoken with European military leaders about Ukraine on Tuesday evening, local Washington time, according to a defense source for AFP.
During the conversation, the "best solutions for a possible peace agreement about Ukraine" would be discussed.
The meeting was held physically in Washington, and precedes a digital meeting with military leaders from NATO's 32 member countries on Wednesday.
