A woman in Umeå must pay back 643,000 kronor to the Social Insurance Agency. The reason is that she received too much in housing supplement for ten years, reports P4 Västerbotten.
The woman, who is in her 50s, was granted housing supplement as a single person between 2015 and 2025.
But the Social Insurance Agency's investigation shows that more people have lived in the woman's apartment and that they have also been registered there.
The follow-up check that has been made covers a ten-year period.
