Ulf Kristersson Overtakes Magdalena Andersson in Voter Trust as Her Rating Falls 11 Points

Social Democratic Party leader Magdalena Andersson is losing voters’ confidence, according to a new Novus survey. Moderate Party leader Ulf Kristersson has overtaken her and now has the highest level of confidence among voters.

Andersson’s trust rating has plummeted by eleven percentage points. She is now trusted “a lot” or “quite a lot” by 35 percent of respondents, TV4 and GP, which commissioned the survey, report.

Instead, Ulf Kristersson tops the trust rankings, with 42 percent after an increase of seven percentage points.

Magdalena Andersson has lost her top position. It is the first time ever that she has not had the highest level of trust and that her rating has fallen below 40 percent, Novus CEO Torbjörn Sjöström tells TV4.

The survey is based on responses from 1,358 people in the so-called Sweden Panel.
