"Our long-range operations are a continuous and precise response to Russia's escalation of the war," Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on X.

Authorities in Russian-occupied Crimea say temporary planned power outages will occur across the peninsula, AFP reports. This is a result of Ukrainian attacks on energy infrastructure, according to a statement from Moscow's Crimean Governor Sergei Aksionov.

Zelenskyy states that an oil depot in the Russian Krasnodar region - which is close to Crimea - and two refineries in Ufa further east in Russia have been attacked in the past 24 hours.

“It is 1,500 kilometers from the front line,” Zelenskyy writes about Ufa.
