Norway's King Harald V died on Friday morning. Erling Braut Haaland, among others, is paying tribute. He and other Norwegian players will wear black mourning bands during this weekend's Premier League matches.

The Norwegian players have taken the initiative with the league and asked to wear black mourning bands, says reporter Jonas Berg-Johnsen in the Norwegian Viaplay broadcast.

On Friday night, Crystal Palace and Manchester City meet. Starting for their respective teams will be Norwegians Jørgen Strand Larsen and Haaland - both wearing mourning bands.

"Rest in peace, King Harald. Thank you for everything you have meant to Norway. It was an honor to meet you," Haaland wrote on Instagram earlier Friday.
