Ukraine has shot down 57 out of 131 Russian drones targeting several parts of the country during the night.

In addition, Russia has launched an attack with two ballistic Iskander-M missiles from the Kursk region, according to the Ukrainian air force on Telegram.

At the same time, the Russian Foreign Ministry reports on social media that Russian air defense has shot down 66 Ukrainian drones over three regions during the night, according to the EFE news agency.

41 of the drones are said to have been intercepted over the Brjansk region, which borders Ukraine, and another 24 over the Kaluga region. The remaining drones were destroyed over Kursk, according to the report.

On Monday, Russia accuses Ukraine of attacking the country's energy infrastructure – and of violating the promise to cease such attacks. According to the Defense Ministry in Moscow, power lines were damaged in Ukrainian attacks on Brjansk on Sunday evening, reports AFP.

Last week, the US claimed that both Moscow and Kyiv had agreed to a ceasefire regarding attacks on energy facilities. No formal agreement has been noted – instead, several accusations of violating the presumed ceasefire from both sides.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has called for a US response to what he calls repeated Russian violations of the energy ceasefire.
