Uefa Approves Standing Sections for Sweden’s Match Against Bosnia and Herzegovina, 2,500 More Tickets to Go on Sale

Uefa has given Sweden the green light for standing sections at the national stadium when Bosnia and Herzegovina visit. A further 2,500 tickets will go on sale, Aftonbladet reports.

It was in May that UEFA decided to allow standing sections at national team matches. The Swedish Football Association has now had its application for standing sections at the Nations League match against Bosnia and Herzegovina on 14 November approved.

This means more supporters can watch the match in person, Aftonbladet writes.

On Wednesday, 2,500 extra tickets will go on sale. They will primarily be offered to gold members of the Supporters' Club.

We believe standing sections will contribute to an even better spectator culture and a more wonderful atmosphere at our international matches, says Fredrik Nilsson, project manager for the Supporters' Club, to Aftonbladet.
