None of the two teams have previously won the NBA title and when the first basketball final was played, Oklahoma City looked in front of their home audience for a long time to be taking a small grip on the match series.

It turned out the opposite.

Despite being behind by 15 points at the beginning of the fourth period, Indiana managed to turn the game into a win. But it was by a hair's breadth. Oklahoma City led 110–109 when Tyrese Haliburton took matters into his own hands in the final attack.

From just inside the three-point line, he made the shot that gave the win, 111–110, to Indiana.

If I get to my favorite position, I really feel comfortable there. I had great faith in my shot, says the match winner.

Not since 1971 has a team turned around such a large deficit so late in an NBA final.

The second final is also played in Oklahoma City, on Sunday to Monday Swedish time.
