The cases have been reported in Region Jämtland Härjedalen, Skåne, Stockholm, Västerbotten, Gotland and Värmland, the Swedish Public Health Agency announced on its website.
To prevent more people from becoming infected with measles, the regions are now carrying out contact tracing. Information is being sent to everyone who attended the festival about what to do if they develop symptoms that could indicate measles.
On Saturday, the Public Health Agency announced that three people had been found to be infected after visiting the festival in Ångermanland, which was held from July 30 to August 1.
"People who visited the festival should be aware of symptoms of measles in themselves and their loved ones and contact healthcare by telephone if they suspect the disease," the Swedish Public Health Agency wrote in a press release at the time.
Two new cases were confirmed on Monday in the Umeå area, both linked to the festival, according to Region Västerbotten.
Measles is highly contagious and can cause serious illness. However, the disease is uncommon in Sweden, as it is included in the childhood vaccination programme.
Region Västerbotten reminds people with symptoms of the importance of contacting healthcare before seeking care to minimise the risk of spreading the infection.
