The film shows the shooter waiting for the man in a car in the Spiran parking garage in central Norrköping. When the 23-year-old arrives at his car, the shooter gets out and starts shooting. The 23-year-old tries to escape but is hit by several shots and falls to the ground. In the film, he can be heard praying for his life as the shooter approaches.
"It's a terrible film to watch, when you realize that this is real. It's unpleasant, of course, in every way," says Thomas Ramstedt.
At least ten shots were fired, according to the prosecutor.
Widespread
The murder film was posted on social media that evening and was widely shared, including on Instagram and TikTok. SVT Västmanland reported that the film was shown during a graduation ceremony at a high school in Köping, on a screen at the front of the auditorium. The school principal stated that someone had logged in and taken over the projector without their knowledge.
The film has been of great importance in the investigation, says Ramstedt, who on Friday charged a 22-year-old man with murder and a 30-year-old man with aiding and abetting.
Partly to show how it happened, but it also contains details that make us think we can link the 22-year-old to the role of the shooter.
Do you know why the murder was filmed?
"We assume that he took on an assignment as a contractor. It could be that the client wanted proof, for example, or that they wanted to use the film in a different way," says Ramstedt.
DNA in getaway car
The man is also charged with attempted murder for a shooting at a home in Gusum on December 11, 2024, as well as for several cases of aggravated weapons offenses.
The evidence against the 22-year-old consists of DNA traces left in the getaway car after the murder and interrogation records.
"It's a fairly large mix of different pieces of evidence that, taken together, makes me believe that he is the shooter," says Thomas Ramstedt.
Both men deny any wrongdoing.
The rapper who was shot broke through in 2022 and had millions of streams on Spotify. According to media reports, he had connections to a criminal network in Norrköping.
