TV4's ongoing largest sports right is the Swedish Hockey League, SHL. The channel has the rights until 2030 after an agreement was signed in 2020. Thus, the country's top hockey league is likely to remain on the channel.

This summer, it became clear that TV4 will share the free-TV rights to the Olympic Games with SVT. The agreement applies to Milano/Cortina 2026, Los Angeles 2028, the French Alps 2030, and Brisbane 2032.

In terms of football, TV4 lost the men's Champions League to Viaplay before this season. However, the channel has previously secured the rights to the men's European Championship 2028 and the men's World Championship 2026, which they will broadcast together with SVT.

Furthermore, they have retained the broadcasting rights to the Italian league, which expires in 2027, and the Spanish league, which expires in 2026.

The men's Allsvenskan and the Swedish Cup can also be seen on the channel. The former can already be seen through an agreement with the primary rights holders Discovery/Max, but from 2026, TV4 has the rights to the country's top football league and Superettan until 2032.

When it comes to the second-highest men's hockey league, Hockeyallsvenskan, the agreement expires in 2026. Meanwhile, the Swedish Women's Hockey League, SDHL, expires in 2025. An uncertain future awaits those rights.

Otherwise, the channel has, among other things, the rights to the ATP tour in tennis, NBA basketball, and the World Championship in rally.
