The TT has previously reported on Gröna Lund's venture to dust off the characters from the discontinued comic book series "Gnuttarna", which had its heyday in the 70s and 80s.
Mattias Banker, co-owner of Parks and Resorts and initiator of the project with Gnuttarna, told us about his love for cartoonist Lars Mortimer's creations, which he calls "a Swedish comic book treasure".
I see it as a heritage that we should take in at Gröna Lund and develop, he said.
On April 26, a new children's show will premiere at the amusement park in Stockholm, where children will get to meet Old-Gnutten, Love-Gnutten, Super-Gnutten, and Hunger-Gnutten.
"Gnuttarna won my heart as soon as I got to know them! I love that they are free-spirited, fearless, and quick-witted – just like you want to be yourself", says scriptwriter Nassim Al Fakir in a press release.
The show will be performed twice a day on Gröna Lund's small stage during the season.
