The incoming US President Donald Trump's inauguration on Monday is being moved indoors, reports American media.
The reason is said to be the cold weather. Trump writes on his platform Truth Social that he has ordered the inaugural speech to be held inside the Capitol Building's rotunda, where former President Ronald Reagan also had his inauguration in 1985.
"There is an arctic wind sweeping across the country. I don't want to see people getting hurt in any way", he writes.
"This is going to be a very beautiful experience for everyone, and especially for the large TV audience."
On Monday, when the inauguration is held, it is expected to be around six degrees cold at lunchtime in Washington DC, reports AP. When Ronald Reagan was sworn in, the temperature was minus seven degrees.
