A protest against ICE at a church in Minnesota is now being investigated by the U.S. Department of Justice. The activists are drawing the ire of President Donald Trump.

The fatal shooting of American mother of three Renee Nicole Good by ICE officers two weeks ago has led to recurring protests against ICE raids.

On Sunday, a church service was interrupted when a dozen protesters entered a church and shouted “ICE out!” The incident, according to CNN, was directed at a pastor who activists claim has a high-ranking role within ICE.

The incident is now under federal investigation. President Trump called the activists “professionals” and “troublemakers who should be thrown in jail or deported” on Truth Social.

In parallel, 1,500 soldiers are reported to have been put on standby in case Trump invokes the more than 200-year-old Insurrection Act to quell the protests.
