Trump himself announces the speech on his Truth Social platform.
The speech will be held at 9 p.m. local time, 3 a.m. Swedish time.
According to White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, Trump will, among other things, touch on new legislative proposals that will come next year.
Trump writes that "it has been a fantastic year" for the United States, and that the country nevertheless has "the best ahead of it."
