After a check-up last October, his doctor declared the president to be in “excellent general health.” However, since then, observers have noted he has appeared to have heavy eyelids. Photos of swollen legs and bruising on one hand have also fueled speculation that something was wrong.
At his presidential inauguration last year, Trump was the oldest person to ever take office.
The White House has not stated exactly which tests Trump underwent. He has previously boasted that he passed cognitive tests - which, among other things, examine signs of dementia - with no errors.
