In Friday's podcast "Storytime with the second lady" with Vice President Usha Vance's wife, the president also took the opportunity to comment on his predecessors.
President Trump then read from the children's book "Presidents play!" about presidents who engage in sports.
It depicts former President Barack Obama playing basketball, among other things. Trump said he doubted Obama was a good basketball player.
He also described John F Kennedy as "the second most handsome president" but did not say who he considered the most handsome.
When asked what Trump himself reads for pleasure, he replied that it's mostly newspapers:
I usually read about myself.
What do you think?
