According to the news channel, the payment of approximately SEK 54 million was confirmed partly by a close friend of Carroll and partly in a court document connected to the case.
Trump was ordered to pay Carroll about $83 million in damages in a separate case in 2024. He has vehemently denied all of Carroll's allegations of sexual assault and defamation and has appealed several times.
He is now continuing to appeal the civil defamation verdict.
