Donald Trump wants to see Christine Jack Toretti as the new US ambassador to Sweden, writes the future president on his social media platform, Truth Social.
During his previous term, Trump wanted to make Toretti ambassador to Malta, but according to Politico, she did not get approved by the then Democrat-led Senate.
Toretti was reported at the time to have been issued a restraining order against her for allegedly placing a target full of bullet holes on her ex-husband's doctor's office.
Trump writes that Toretti, who is chairman of the Republicans in Pennsylvania, is a "fantastic businesswoman, philanthropist, official".
