Several high-ranking figures in the Iranian state apparatus have been killed in this weekend's Israeli and American attacks on Iran. Late Saturday, it was announced that Ali Khamenei, the country's supreme leader, had also been killed.
Iran's Revolutionary Guards say that "the wildest offensive operation" ever in Iran's military history will be launched "any second," targeting Israel and American military bases.
"They shouldn't do it," writes U.S. President Donald Trump on Truth Social.
“Because if they do, we will strike them with a force never seen before,” he continues.
In an interview with CBS News, Trump also claims that Iran's counterattacks, which have so far targeted American military bases, have been "lesser" than he thought.
"We were expecting double that," the president told CBS News.
Trump calls the attacks on Iran effective and believes they can pave the way for a diplomatic solution.

Donald Trump chose not to answer CBS's question about whether he sees the attacks on Iran as a war.
