Zacharia, a lawyer and communications adviser at Trump’s media company, will succeed Karoline Leavitt, who resigned in August.
Trump calls his new spokesperson, among other things, a “devoted supporter and member of MAGA” and describes her work as a lawyer as “outstanding.”
Katie Zacharia has appeared as a commentator on conservative television channels, including Fox News.
“The task ahead is to continue to deliver strong results for our country and to convey to the American people the great successes this administration achieves every day,” she writes on X.
