With the expression "J-6 hostages", he is referring to those who were convicted for the storming of the Capitol on January 6, 2021.
Republican James Comer, who is the chairman of the investigative committee, also criticizes Joe Biden's decision to pardon his son.
"It is unfortunate that President Biden and his family, instead of acknowledging their decades of misconduct, do everything they can to avoid accountability", writes Comer on X.
