Low pressure from Poland and the Baltics moves north on a more unusual path than other low-pressure areas that affect Sweden and is generally difficult to assess, according to SMHI.
Both the intensity and extent of the rain are still uncertain, but it looks like it will affect Gotland, easternmost Svealand, and from late afternoon also the coast and inland of Norrland.
By contrast, Götaland may be quite sunny, and western Svealand may get some sun alternating with clouds and locally some showers.
Daytime temperatures in the country are expected to vary from around 20 degrees in southern Sweden to around 16-18 degrees in the north.
