Örebro avoided the nightmare – and for Trelleborg the nightmare became reality. Classic club Trelleborg will play Division 1 football next season after a draw against ÖSK in the final round of the Superettan.

In extra time, Samuel Kroon scored the decisive 1-1 goal in the must-win match against Trelleborg, which meant that ÖSK would have the chance to remain in the Super League while Trelleborg would be eliminated immediately.

What scenes, it's pretty clear. At the end we weren't very dangerous so it came a little out of nowhere, the match hero tells HBO Max.

But for a long time it looked like Trelleborg was the team that would get to celebrate.

Hugo Engström headed in a corner kick and scored the 1-0 goal for TFF. And after the goal, there was little indication that ÖSK would score a decisive goal.

But then Kroon stepped forward and when the referee blew the whistle it was clear that Örebro would have the chance to qualify for the Super League.

It's crazy. We haven't solved it yet, we have one qualifier left. We've had everything against us and now we have one more job to do, says Kroon.

Now we have qualifiers against either Nordic United or HTFF – from Division 1.

Trelleborg now faces Division 1 football. It has already been clear that Umeå will also be relegated from the Super League.
