Train traffic on the Dalabanan route between Borlänge and Uppsala, Arlanda and Stockholm has been affected by cancelled trains and delayed departures during Monday afternoon. The reason is that a tree has fallen over a contact wire between Sala and Avesta Krylbo.
Trafikverket received the alarm about the power failure at around 14.30. There is still no prognosis for when traffic past Sala can be up and running again. Some sections are being replaced with buses.
Our troubleshooters are on site and are trying to see if there's a quick way to fix this contact wire, says Daniel Mossberg, press communicator at Trafikverket.
No train was nearby when the tree fell over the power line, according to Trafikverket.
