High water flows mean that there is a stop in train traffic between Örnsköldsvik and Umeå, announces the Swedish Transport Administration.

There is a risk of flooding adjacent to the track area, says Felicia Danielsson, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.

There is currently no forecast for when traffic can resume. The Swedish Transport Administration was informed of the stop just before 11 am on Monday morning.

Both Norrtåg and SJ are affected, writes Västerbottens-Kuriren.

You have to contact your train company if you are going to travel this route, says Felicia Danielsson.
