It is completely stopped in train traffic between Gothenburg and Malmö after a derailment.
The first step was that the locomotive driver drove against red, and since the switch then lay wrong the train derailed, says Katarina Wolffram, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration.
The train was on its way to be switched aside to the railway yard, so I suspect that there were no passengers on board.
A first prognosis is that one of the tracks should be able to open from 6 pm. The other track will probably take longer to repair.
The accident occurred between Laholm and Halmstad, but causes disruptions on the entire route between Gothenburg and Malmö. Bus replaces all or part of the route.
