Remains of another passenger were recovered from the train wreck late Monday. Flags are flying at half-mast and TV news anchors are wearing black as Spain begins the first of three days of national mourning.
Rescue workers are still at the accident site northeast of Córdoba, which the Spanish royal couple visited on Tuesday.
Sunday's accident occurred when the rear carriages of a high-speed train from Málaga to Madrid derailed and ended up on the oncoming tracks, leading to a collision with another train.
Much remains unclear, but on Tuesday, Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska ruled out sabotage.
Over 120 people were injured in the accident, of whom around 40 are still being treated in hospital.
