Traffic accidents are one of the most common causes of death during working hours, says the Swedish Transport Administration's director-general Roberto Maiorana.
According to Maiorana, the death toll can be reduced by about 50 percent if a number of preventive measures are taken.
It's about using a seatbelt, keeping to the speed limits and using the safety technology available in vehicles, he says and continues:
It's also important that employers and authorities take their responsibility and cooperate. That traffic safety becomes an obvious part when, for example, one procures transportation.
