The lawsuits concern the company's own-brand coffee beans. Customers claim that the chain has been misleading about its stated caffeine content - and that the coffee contains significantly less caffeine than expected.
Tests of the beans show, according to the lawsuit, that the product contains "half as much caffeine as a regular coffee blend."
"In this case, it is not stated that the coffee is semi-decaffeinated," the lawsuit further states.
Customers are now demanding financial compensation and that a federal judge order the company to review and reconsider all previous complaints regarding the product.
