The Oslo police received a call about ongoing deadly violence at 12:12 p.m., and five minutes later a person had been arrested, NTB writes.
We are now at the scene, talking to witnesses, conducting crime scene work, checking surveillance cameras and taking other immediate investigative measures, says task force leader Eirik Sannes to NRK.
According to police, many students were at the school when the incident occurred, and the school is now working to protect the students.
At 12:40 p.m., police said that the situation was under control.
