Damn crap, said Rickard Olsson after the results were read out.
Fifteen dancers have, after the three qualifying programs in this year's season, become ten. Among them, Carolina Klüft and David Lindgren received high scores from the jury.
Our job is to assess each pair on their individual journey. We don't compare the pairs to each other, said Tony Irving.
There have been some changes in "Let's dance", which is back after a year's hiatus. Apart from the qualifying programs, the broadcast time has been shortened and two pairs were eliminated during the first real live broadcast.
The lowest scores for the evening were received by Manoel "Junior" Marques Lerin, Rickard Olsson, and Tommy Myllymäki. In the end, it was Junior Lerin who got to stay, despite receiving harsh criticism from the jury.
It's really fun, but it's not show jazz, said Eric Saade.
Both Myllymäki and Olsson ended up in the lower half of the starting field in terms of scores. However, the jury thought that both participants had developed since the qualifying programs.
The problem is that everyone else is moving forward too, said Tommy Myllymäki.
