The Swedish Ice Hockey Association's disciplinary committee believes that Cederlund intentionally made holes in the ice with his skates during the warm-up before the away match against Mora in the Hockey Allsvenskan in the last round on Friday.
"The committee has carefully studied the video sequence of the incident and cannot free itself from the fact that Emil Cederlund's movement pattern is very unnatural, and considers it clear that he intentionally destroyed the ice at two different places".
Two of the committee members wanted to impose a harsher penalty with a suspension of "up to six months", according to the decision.
The final round of the Hockey Allsvenskan was dramatic with three teams tied on the same points in the battle to avoid relegation.
After the sabotage, Tingsryd's match was delayed and the team could play on their competitors' results.
However, it did not help and Östersund drew the longest straw in the qualifying match.
In an interview with Expressen earlier in the week, Cederlund said that he did not intentionally sabotage the ice.
I'm not feeling well. It has been a very tough day and I have been accused of both this and that, he said.
In the complaint, Cederlund has been given the opportunity to speak and maintains that he is innocent.
In addition to a four-match suspension, Cederlund will also be fined 2,100 kronor.
Tingsryd will face relegation qualification against Vimmerby starting on Thursday.
The match series will be decided in best of seven matches.
