According to SMHI, it can locally come between 30 and 40 millimeters of rain. The yellow warning for rain applies from midnight and until Thursday evening.
Northern Värmland, parts of Dalarna and Hälsingland are areas where large amounts of rain can come.
The thunderstorm warning applies to parts of western and northern Götaland and southern Örebro County, from late on Wednesday evening and into the night. In connection with the thunderstorm, it can also briefly occur strong gusts of wind.
Severe thunderstorms mean, among other things, a risk of disruptions in the power and telephone networks as well as in train and air traffic, writes SMHI in the warning and also tips to check, for example, gutters, stormwater wells and other waterways to reduce the risk of flooding.
