The incident occurred in connection with a demonstration last Friday.

There are two cases. In one case, there is a suspect, in the other case, there are two suspects, says prosecutor Irene Falk, who is leading the investigation, to SVT Västerbotten.

One person is suspected of the actual installation, while the other two are suspected of spreading an image of the dolls on social media. No one is detained and none of the suspects have been heard by the police.

The image of the dolls was posted on social media by an activist group that claims it is an art installation by an independent artist, but was later removed.

The purpose of the installation is described as being to "draw parallels between two horrific genocides and highlight the message that it is unacceptable, regardless of who is affected".
