It was a Sunday evening in March 2022 when a 36-year-old man was stabbed and shot to death in a local in Lidköping.
At the same time, two gym-goers were lightly injured at a nearby gym - by bullets that went through the wall.
Three men are being prosecuted for the murder, which according to the prosecutor had connections to a motorcycle club.
"The deceased had previously been excluded from a motorcycle club and had taken over the local with plans to start a new club," says Vice Chief Prosecutor Jenny Karlsson in a press release.
"One of the defendants had seen to it that the 36-year-old had come to the local, and then two people had shot and stabbed him in the neck so that he had died."
A man in his 30s is being prosecuted for murder and a similarly aged man for aiding and abetting murder. At the same time, a man in his 50s is being prosecuted for instigating murder and serious weapons offenses.
The men are also suspected of having planned to murder the victim's father, who however arrived at the local only after his son had already been attacked.
