Names, email addresses, and nude photos with visible faces were among the millions of documents released on Friday.
The Justice Department confirmed late Monday that it had removed “several thousand” documents and images that inadvertently contained information identifying the victims, and blamed “technical or human error.”
The documents have "ended the lives" of nearly 100 people who were victims of Epstein's crimes, according to lawyers representing several of the victims.
In a statement, 20 of Jeffrey Epstein's victims question why powerful figures and "enablers" continue to enjoy secrecy, while victims are "named, scrutinized and re-traumatized."
