Indie horror director Ti West concludes his trilogy with Mia Goth as his muse (preceded by the films "X" and "Pearl"). "Maxxxine" takes place in the Los Angeles porn world of the 80s, where Goth plays actress Maxine Minx who dreams of becoming a star in the borderland between film and sex work. At the same time, a murderer is terrorizing the city, targeting Maxine and her colleagues.
"Alien: Romulus" (14/8)
After a few "Alien" prequels that received mixed reactions ("Prometheus" and "Covenant"), the film monster has been entrusted to Uruguayan director Fede Alvarez, who returns to the series' roots – namely the period between the first and second film, this time with a young crew forced to flee from the universe's deadliest creature.

Documentary film's top director Alex Gibney ("Taxi to the Dark Side", "Captured by Scientology") takes off from Paul Simon's work on his latest album "Seven Psalms", and then expands to tell the story of Simon's life and career over six decades.
