The experienced football referee is praised on the grounds that Al-Hakim's performances "in 2025 have been consistent and at a very high level, where he has served the team with fair decisions and delivered leadership that is humble yet clear."
Al-Hakim has refereed over 300 matches in the Swedish men's league, World Cup qualifiers and group stage matches in the Europa League during his career. He also received the award in 2015.
Lovisa Johansson has been the head referee in a total of 187 matches in the Swedish women's championship and is receiving the award for the first time.
"Through strong and consistent performances in several of the season's most crucial top matches, she has shown a clear step in her development, where her confidence, leadership and decision-making skills have maintained a very high quality," reads the association's justification.
