After four trading days in a row with falling prices, the Stockholm stock exchange turned upwards on Thursday.
Among the winners on the heavyweight list OMXS-30 were the industrial conglomerate Alfa Laval, which rose by 2.2 percent. The company has announced that it aims to reach sales of 100 billion kronor by 2030. It also went upwards for the defense conglomerate Saab, plus 2.0 percent, and truck giant Volvo, which rose 1.9 percent.
Among the losers were the real estate company SBB, minus 2.5 percent, appliance manufacturer Electrolux, down 1.6 percent, and heat pump manufacturer Nibe, which fell 1.5 percent.
The upward trend on the Stockholm stock exchange was in line with the leading European stock exchanges in London, Frankfurt, and Paris.
