Even the Stockholm Stock Exchange's OMXS30 index, with the most traded shares, starts upwards. The index has reached a new record level, which has not happened since last September.
The automation company ABB performs best in the initial trading, up 1.2 percent. Also, the industrial company Alfa Laval and the measurement technology company Hexagon start on a plus, up 0.9 and 1.2 percent, respectively.
Downward, among others, is the bearing giant SKF, minus 1.2 percent, and the mining company Boliden, down 0.6 percent.
The development on the leading stock exchanges in Europe is similar to that in Stockholm.
In Asia, it has been mixed overnight. The composite indexes in Shanghai and Shenzhen are falling after the US President Donald Trump once again flagged new tariffs on goods from China.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 index went in the opposite direction and rose, just like South Korea's Kospi index.
On the US stock exchanges, there were rising prices on Tuesday, where, among others, the technology giants Amazon and Alphabet (Google) lifted.
