Potter has been clear that the starting point is a four-back line. Emil Holm, Isak Hien, Gustaf Lagerbielke (as a replacement for Nilsson Lindelöf) and Gabriel Gudmundsson are a possible team at the back. Daniel Svensson could be an alternative for Gudmundsson, who rested Thursday's training.
"That's the position I prefer to play in," says Svensson about the left-back position.
Midfield:
Jesper Karlström could be the player who brings the balance Potter wants to bring to the team. He is tactically polished and defensively skilled. Or does Potter want to invest in Mattias Svanberg centrally, back after 14 months of absence from the national team?
With Hugo Larsson and Lucas Bergvall injured and Anton Salétros out, Yasin Ayari should take the other central position in the middle.
