The prosecutor will not pursue the damages claims from Intellego's owners, reports DI. The company is suspended from trading and is threatened with delisting from the Stockholm Stock Exchange after the former CEO was informed of suspicions of gross fraud.

Since the criminal suspicions became known, prosecutor Thomas Hertz has received many police reports from Intellego's approximately 16,000 shareholders. The current crime classification is dishonesty.

Hertz has now decided not to initiate any preliminary investigation based on the reports. This means that the shareholders will not be named as plaintiffs and that the prosecutor will not pursue their claims for damages against the company.

The reason is what is called preliminary investigation limitations. That is, it could not lead to a more severe sentence given the criminal suspicions that already exist.
